Join us for a special program and conversation with Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke about the Fed’s 100-year history. Teachers in the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area have a unique opportunity to be a part of the live audience for the Chairman’s address delivered via webcast to educators across the country. After his remarks, Chairman Bernanke will take questions from the live audience as well as educators attending events at Federal Reserve Banks.

Teachers will travel by bus from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Baltimore Branch on November 13, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in Washington, D.C. The bus is expected to arrive back in Baltimore at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Teachers that live closer to the Board of Governors may make their own travel arrangements and register directly with the Board using the contact information in the Resources section below. Teachers located outside the Baltimore-Washington metropolitan area can also view the event via webcast from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m EST.

This event is free. However, space is limited, and registration is required.
