Overview

North Carolina high school teachers are invited to register their student teams to compete in the Economics Challenge! The Economics Challenge, delivered by the North Carolina Council on Economic Education, is an online academic competition designed to increase students understanding of economics. The competition has two divisions: Adam Smith for AP-level students, and David Ricardo for students with introductory economics knowledge.

The top six high school teams in each division will advance to the state championship quiz bowl on March 30 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, Charlotte Branch.

The online competition window opens March 11 and runs through March 14. Register today!
