Federal Reserve Board Chair Janet Yellen will address educators in Washington, D.C., and nationwide via webcast. Her live message for teachers will discuss the mission and responsibilities of the Federal Reserve System. After her remarks, Chair Yellen will take questions from K-12 and post-secondary educators of economics, history, and related disciplines.
If you are an educator in the Richmond, Va. metro area, you are invited to join the live audience in the Board Room.
Transportation will be provided from the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. The bus will leave the Richmond Fed at noon and return at approximately 9:30 p.m. The day will include visiting related Washington, D.C. sites followed by the Conversation with the Chair event from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. EST at the Board of Governors.
