At the event, the Richmond Fed also previewed the launch of an online platform that will provide community development organizations with access to funding for their CRA-eligible activities and services.

As reliance on the internet has grown, connectivity has not necessarily kept pace, particularly for disadvantaged populations and those living in geographically remote areas. Our regional researchers probe to what extent the Richmond Fed’s communities face limited internet connectivity and whether it differs in urban and rural locations.
