Our Bank's Community Development office is partnering with the SC Association of Community Economic Development, United Way of SC, and the FDIC on a conference, "Economic Inclusion: Tools to Build the Financial Strength of Low-Income Families and Communities."
Senior Vice President and Research Director Kartik Athreya is among the speakers who will present research and information on the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC), the nation's largest income-support program. EITCs are tax credits that help low-income working families build financial strength and foster economic inclusion.
