Richmond Fed to Hold ‘Fed Listens’ Event October 5

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond will hold a “Fed Listens” event on October 5 at 10:30 a.m. at the Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance in Lynchburg, Virginia. The event will be livestreamed.

President Tom Barkin will meet with community leaders to hear how the pandemic has affected the workforce and labor market in the area, with a focus on businesses and families. Speakers include

  • Tracie Blido, executive director, Virginia Career Works, Central Region
  • Bill Bodine, president & CEO, The Greater Lynchburg Community Foundation 
  • Christine Kennedy, chief operating officer, Lynchburg Regional Business Alliance
  • Stephanie Keener, director, Small Business Development Center, Lynchburg Region
  • Megan Huffman, executive director, SHARE Greater Lynchburg
