The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following officer appointment:
Brent Stanton has been appointed to the position of assistant vice president in Treasury and Payment Services, with responsibility for several business lines operated by the Federal Reserve in support of the U.S. Treasury and other government agencies. The appointment is effective March 25.
Stanton comes to the Richmond Fed from Ally Financial in Charlotte, N.C., where he has been a strategic planning manager for Ally Bank Technology. Previously, he worked for Lenovo computers in Morrisville, N.C., and in Richmond for Genworth Financial, Velocity Micro and Circuit City. Stanton earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering at the University of Nebraska.
The Richmond Fed serves the Fifth Federal Reserve District, which includes the District of Columbia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and most of West Virginia.
