Richmond Fed Appoints Reginal Bryant as Senior Vice President and CIO

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond has appointed Reginal Bryant as senior vice president and chief information officer. The appointment was effective June 1.

Bryant’s responsibilities include providing leadership and strategic direction for a variety of information technology services and functions, as well as for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of application systems portfolios for business functions.

“Reggie’s diverse and extensive leadership experience position him to add significant value as a member of our management team,” said First Vice President Becky Bareford.

Bryant joined the Federal Reserve in 2007 and has held a number of leadership roles in information security. He served as a cybersecurity and IT officer in the U.S. Air Force and also worked for the National Security Agency.

Bryant earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from The Citadel and a master’s degree in management information systems from the University of Maryland’s University College.
