Richmond Fed Announces Officer Appointments

The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond announces the following appointments:

Meghan Wlaz has been promoted to vice president of System Payroll & HR Operations, with responsibility for payroll services for all Federal Reserve Bank employees and human relations operations for the Richmond Fed.

Wlaz joined the Richmond Fed in 2010 as a project manager in Cash Services and was promoted to assistant vice president in 2017. She most recently led Critical Operations Administrative Services.

Wlaz earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Penn State University and an executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology.

Jasmine Peters has been appointed an assistant vice president of Critical Operations Administrative Services, with responsibility for access control, compliance and environmental health and safety teams.

Peters joined the Richmond Fed in 2012 as an assistant bank examiner. She earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University and an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Christopher Dennis was named an assistant vice president in the National Procurement Office, leading technology sourcing initiatives.

Dennis joined the Federal Reserve in 2004 as a contractor and advanced into various roles in sourcing, most recently a senior manager. He earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Virginia Tech and an MBA from the University of Richmond.

Michael West has been appointed an assistant vice president in the National Procurement Office, leading initiatives in support of Federal Reserve procurement strategies.

West joined the Richmond Fed in 2007 as a senior contracts and sourcing analyst and advanced in his role to lead a sourcing team as senior manager. He previously worked in procurement for Qimonda AG and Ericsson.

West earned a bachelor’s degree in management and business from Mary Baldwin College.

Kiran Krishnamurthy was named an assistant vice president of Corporate Communications, with responsibility for teams managing business and operations communications, web services and user experience.

Krishnamurthy joined the Richmond Fed in 2008. Previously, he worked for the Richmond Times-Dispatch. He earned a bachelor’s degree in mass communications from James Madison University and a master’s degree in public policy and public administration from Northwestern University.

Tiffany Alexander has been appointed as an assistant vice president in Federal Reserve Financial Services, leading a team supporting cash operations across the Federal Reserve System.

Alexander joined the Federal Reserve in 2020, leading a team working with technology vendors for the Federal Reserve’s cash-processing operations. She previously worked for CarMax.

Alexander earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration at the University of Mary Washington.
