Matthew Haumann

Matthew Haumann is a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Haumann earned his bachelor's degree in mathematics and economics from the University of Virginia. His research interests include econometrics, macroeconomic policy, and immigration.

As a second-year associate, Haumann collaborates with economists at the Richmond Fed. He has worked with Nicolas Morales to study the effects of immigration on the American labor market and with Grey Gordon to examine the connection between consumer expected earnings and the risk of default on credit cards.
