Updated several times a month, these charts provide the latest state-level information on industries, labor markets, income, and housing in the Fifth District.

Rural-Urban Comparison Maps

A series of interactive maps that showcase the differences in demographic and economic indicators across the rural-urban landscape of the Fifth District.

Beige Book

The Richmond Fed contributes anecdotal information to the Beige Book, which provides an overview of current economic conditions within each Federal Reserve District.

Educational Attainment

The Census Bureau's annual American Community Survey includes information on educational attainment by a variety of economic and demographic factors. These reports provide graphs, maps, and tables that visualize select variables using the most recent data available.
