But as our Community Conversations team learned on a recent trip to Southeastern Virginia, the pull between maintaining a rural, small town feel and embracing the potential benefits of urbanization hangs in the balance.
The second Conference on Measuring Cyber Risk in the Financial Services Sector continued the important discussion around cyber data needs to help financial services firms better manage cyber risk. Hosted by the Richmond Fed, the Federal Reserve Board and MIT, the conference was held in January 2024 on the MIT campus in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
The Richmond Fed's Rural Investment Collaborative will train 20 rural leaders how to create successful proposals for community funding.
