Huberto M. Ennis

Huberto Ennis is group vice president for macro and financial economics in the Research Department. He joined the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond in August 2000 after earning his doctorate from Cornell University.

Ennis has published multiple articles in academic journals and lectured at universities in the United States, Argentina and Spain. He also shared his expertise on economic issues as a visiting scholar at other central banks. He serves as co-editor of the International Journal of Central Banking and associate editor for the Journal of Monetary Economics and Macroeconomic Dynamics.

Ennis' research interests include macroeconomics, financial economics, and monetary theory. His recent work has focused on banking, discount window lending, and the central bank balance sheet.
