Adam Currie is president and CEO of First Bank, headquartered in Southern Pines, North Carolina, with operations across the Carolinas.  

Currie has held a variety of positions at First Bank over the last decade, including regional president, chief banking officer and president. Prior to joining First Bank, Currie held leadership positions at PNC Capital Markets and RBC Bank.

He serves as a director of First Bancorp, First Bank and the Piedmont Triad Partnership.

Currie is a graduate of the University of North Carolina and the Graduate School of Banking at Louisiana State University.
