Andrew McKenna

Andrew McKenna is Vice President for Capital and Quantitative Supervision in the Supervision, Regulation and Credit Department at the Richmond Fed. In this role, he oversees large bank supervisory activities related to capital adequacy and financial risk management, supervisory stress testing, along with economists and quantitative experts who conduct research and modeling to support supervision and financial stability. McKenna also oversees market and counterparty credit risk supervision for systemically important institutions. He has been part of the Federal Reserve System since 2008.

McKenna completed graduate studies in public administration at New York University, finance and economics at Johns Hopkins University, and has undergraduate degrees in economics and politics from Arizona State University, where he was the receipt of the Fulbright and Boren fellowships.
