Hanh Le
Hanh Le is Senior Financial Economist on our Quantitative Supervision and Research team in the Supervision, Regulation and Credit Department at the Richmond Fed. Her research focuses on capital policy implications of bank interconnectedness, the role of banks in the governance of corporate borrowers and economic growth, and various aspects related to financial stability.
Before joining the Richmond Fed’s Capital and Quantitative Supervision group in 2024, Le was an assistant professor of Finance at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
Le holds a PhD in finance from the Stern School of Business, New York University, a master of philosophy in finance from the University of New South Wales, a bachelor with honors (University Medal) from the Australian National University and a bachelor of commerce from the University of Melbourne.
