The Federal Reserve System launched an electronic system in October 2022 to make the mergers and acquisition filing process more efficient. “FedEZFile” is the Federal Reserve System’s single technology tool that offers an easy, immediate and secure way for financial organizations supervised by the Federal Reserve Board, their authorized representatives and individuals to submit filings; view the status of their filings; communicate with assigned Reserve Bank and/or Board analyst(s) and attorneys; and receive digitally signed correspondence from the Federal Reserve. Stakeholder feedback regarding ease of registration and functionality has been positive. Since the launch, approximately 80% of all applications filed have been submitted through Fed EZFile. If you have not yet signed up, you can use this link to sign up now (same day filing is available).

We would also like to introduce you to FedEZFile Fluent, a comprehensive resource supporting the use of FedEZFile. This site provides information regarding what to submit and how to utilize the Federal Reserve’s electronic filing process. Dedicated technical user support is available weekdays 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. CT at 1-833-656-4644 or by email at SYSEZFileSupport@dal.frb.org.
