The Federal Reserve Banks of Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Minneapolis and Richmond, in conjunction with their regional payments associations, are conducting a mobile banking and payments survey of financial institutions (FIs) in their respective Districts between July and August 2014. The purpose of the survey is to determine if FIs have begun to offer mobile financial services and, for those who have, to determine what types of mobile services they were offering. The Reserve Banks also hope to gain insights into the strategies and measures that regional FIs are pursuing to provide mobile financial services to their customers.
