The Quantitative Supervision and Research (QSR) seminar series hosted by the Richmond Fed invites prominent academic researchers in the fields of asset pricing, corporate finance and banking, and other fields. The seminars usually take place in our Charlotte branch and are broadcast to Baltimore and Richmond. Some of these seminars are organized jointly with the Finance Department at the University of North Carolina – Charlotte (UNCC) and are held either at the branch or the UNCC campus. In addition, QSR holds seminars where members of the group as well as their co-authors, former academic advisors and other visitors have the opportunity to present preliminary research in a more informal setting.
