Davy Sell

Davy Sell is an intermediate research analyst for the Regional and Community Analysis team at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. She assists with data organization and collection for the Survey of Community College Outcomes along with additional large data sets related to higher education and workforce. Sell’s primary focus is the Community College Initiative where she produces statistical analysis, interpretation and data visualizations.

Prior to joining the Richmond Fed in 2024, Sell worked with the Virginia Center for Housing Research performing energy burden analysis for statewide housing needs assessments. Sell is an AmeriCorps VISTA alumna, and in her service year she created and managed data and communications strategies for the Regional Housing Partnership in Charlottesville, VA. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in data analytics and policy from Johns Hopkins University.
