Spencer Cooper-Ohm
Spencer Cooper-Ohm is a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Cooper-Ohm graduated from the University of Iowa with bachelor’s degrees in economics and English creative writing. His research interests include health economics, applied microeconomics, and econometrics.
As a first-year associate, Cooper-Ohm collaborates with several economists at the Richmond Fed. He is working with Thomas Hasenzagl on using the production function approach to estimate aggregate firm markups and returns to scale. He is also drafting Economic Briefs for Nicholas Trachter on asset distribution in over-the-counter markets and the welfare effects of unemployment insurance.
