Leeya Howley
Leeya Howley is a research associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Howley graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and economics. Her research interests include banking and international trade.
As a first-year associate, Howley has collaborated with several economists at the Richmond Fed. She has supported Anna Kovner in her research on mover patterns by credit score and the impacts of inflation on profit margins. She has also worked with Horacio Sapriza to study global investor responses to monetary policy shocks, the influence of quantitative easing and quantitative tightening on loans issued by banks, and the economic effects of redlining.
