Nobuhiro Kiyotaki
Nobuhiro Kiyotaki is the Harold H. Helm ’20 Professor of Economics and Banking at Princeton University. He has been a long-term consultant in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond since 2013.
Kiyotaki is a fellow of the Econometric Society and the British Academy. He has received the BBVA Foundation Frontiers of Knowledge Award in Economics, Finance, and Management, the Nakahara Prize, the Yrjö Jahnsson Award, the Stephen A. Ross Prize in Financial Economics, and the Banque de France-Toulouse School of Economics Senior Prize in Monetary Economics and Finance.
Kiyotaki's research covers a variety of topics in macroeconomics and monetary theory, including pioneering work incorporating microeconomic foundations and the financial sector into macroeconomic models.
