PSAs in the Classroom
The Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond’s "PSAs in the Classroom" project brings short, personal finance videos created by college students to middle and high school classrooms.
PSA videos are paired with an easy-to-implement classroom activity and discussion questions to help secondary teachers demonstrate economic and personal finance concepts to students.
PSA Title | Description |
---|---|
Meet Joe | This video covers the concept of budgeting and encourages students to plan before they spend. |
Spend Money You Don't Have | This video cautions people to read the fine print on promotional credit card offers. |
Life Lessons: Credit Card Debt | This video conveys that credit card bills cannot be simply ignored. |
Change | This video emphasizes the importance of finishing high school for future job opportunities. |
Additional PSAs and activities may be added. In the meantime, consider using any of our Share the Wealth competition videos to introduce economic and personal finance concepts to your students.
