Employment in D.C. rose by 1,100 jobs (0.1 percent) in February. The unemployment rate increased 0.2 percentage point to 4.7 percent.
Employment in Maryland decreased by 3,900 jobs (0.1 percent) in February. The unemployment rate fell 0.1 percentage point to 2.9 percent.
North Carolina employment increased by 8,900 jobs (0.2 percent) in February. The unemployment rate fell 0.2 percentage point to 3.6 percent.
South Carolina gained 2,100 jobs (0.1 percent) in February. The unemployment rate remained at 3.2 percent.
Employment in Virginia increased by 3,200 jobs (0.1 percent) in February. The unemployment rate remained at 3.2 percent.
West Virginia employment increased by 1,500 jobs (0.2 percent) in February. The unemployment rate fell 0.2 percentage point to 3.7 percent.
