Thomas M. Humphrey
Tom Humphrey (1935-2023) worked as an economist in the Research department at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond for 35 years. He retired from his position as senior economist and research advisor in 2004.
Humphrey published numerous journal articles and books during his career at the Richmond Fed and continued to write on monetary policy history for the Bank while in retirement, up until 2014.
